Civil Wars ... OH HOW I MISS YOU.
CoolBean FanGirl
How under rated are they though? I mean, they make such amazing music!
Beautiful.  This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.  True.

I don't think i'll ever get over them breaking up. Watching them sing together just catches my breath.

I could listen to this song 100 times, and cry every single time. It's possible to be with somebody, and still be lonely. It's a very rare thing to find someone that can reach the depths of your soul, and connect on a level to fill that void.
Combat Barbie
I wanted to let you know how much this song means to me. My husband is a 3 tour combat Retired Army veteran & has severe PTSD among physical limitations. I heard this song and I cried & cried. These words speak volumes to how he has built up walls to protect himself from his damaged traumatic past. We have been married 13 years now & I played this song for him and he broke down and cried. Your music reaches beyond just those who listen to songs, they reach the heart & have the power to heal............Thank you so much for this song!! You two are my favorite

Omg so didn't know johnny Depp could sing
Dr Death
I rather doubt that Joy and John Paul will see this, but if you do... PLEASE get back together. What you two have is MAGICAL and right now, the world needs more good in it. That's what you two, together, bring to us all; goodness!!!

emotionally painful
i can't watch this video!! I feel like I'm intruding on something incredibly private, specially when they're singing and looking at each other.

It's not your eyes
It's not what you say
It's not your laughter that gives you away
You're just lonely
You've been lonely, too long

All your actin'
Your thin disguise
All your perfectly delivered lies
They don't fool me
You've been lonely, too long

Let me in the wall, you've built around
And we can light a match and burn it down
Let me hold your hand and dance 'round and 'round the flame
In front of us
Dust to

You've held your head up
You've fought the fight
You bear the scars
You've done your time
Listen to me
You've been lonely, too long

Let me in the wall, you've built around
And we can light a match and burn them down
And let me hold your hand and dance 'round and 'round the flames
In front of us
Dust to dust

You're like a mirror, reflecting me
Takes one to know one, so take it from me
You've been lonely
You've been lonely, too long
We've been lonely
We've been lonely, too long
Innis& Guns
It's so obvious that they fell in love with each other. And, I bet it's the same love that inspired all these songs that split them apart too.
This is one of my favorites and I've listened to it a million times and seen the video... And yet, I only just now saw the possible storyline that this song is about them, about their discord. How they've been lonely in this duo ever since the discord, how they want to be let into each other's walls to get back what they had, and yet understanding that there are scars, that they did their time...

I am beginning to see that this could be one of the songs through which they communicated what they couldn't just come out and say.
Heba Matpaq
he looks SO MUCH like Johnny Depp 😭😭😭
Raquel Soares
I just find my december song, it such a nostalgic, sad, relaxing song, I just wana keep listenning forever
prettyboy Ian
I remember first hearing this song in the prom scene in the remake of carrie and was like YESS
NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can convince me that they werent in love with each other. The way they look at each other is something incredible. The fact that they split up just tears me apart inside. Their voices are just as perfect a match as they are to each other. :/
John Horner
This song is new to me...been listening to it on repeat for almost a hour.
Amazing song. I'm sure there's nothing to this, but if I was Joy Williams' husband, the way she looks at John Paul White would make me real uncomfortable.
