More talent in this performance than most have in an entire career. Why does Jimmy Eat World get ignored so much?

THE ENERGY. Something about bands from this era just brought a totally unattainable element on stage with them. For me, it's especially evident around 2:15 when the solo starts. Gives me chills every time.

I'm sexually attracted to the sound of his voice.

This is a highly underrated band...one of the best in their class/genre/era

Must admit, this song does more than just merely rock.

These lyrics have so much more power and meaning now that I'm double the age of 12 (around when I first heard it)

I'm not alone cause the TV's on yeah.
I'm not crazy cause I take the right pills everyday.
And rest, clean your conscience, clear your thoughts with speyside with your grain.
Clean your conscience, clear your thoughts with speyside.

Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Tune in and we can get the last call.
Our lives, our coal.

Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade.
Our lives.

Our lives.

(I bled the) greed from my arm.
Won't they give it a rest now?
(give it a rest now now now now)

Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Tune in and we can get the last call.

Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade.

If Jimmy Eat World is emo music, then emo should mean energetic and happy!

One big difference from this and newer live videos is in this you don't see a hundred glowing screens hovering above the crowd. I never got into filming shows I went/go to. Its hard to enjoy a show when you are watching it through a screen not to mention afterward the video is just a distorted shaky mess.

2:25-2:36 epic addition

I don't get it why others hate it when JEW is labelled as an emo band... I mean, I loved most of the emo bands from the 00s like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, etc.. but I still don't get it why they hate emo so much despite of the song is pretty good and has a meaning of it...
