This song is criminally underrated.
Bolin's Show
I just love how in every music video they did they didn't even seem to give a shit if it synched up or not (especially Keith)
Carrie Stetler
They had such ungodly beautiful harmonies and I don't think they get enough recognition for that.

The Who never sounded like the beatles even Pete Townshend said he never wanted to sound anything like the beatles

I don't mind other guys dancing with my girl
That's fine, I know them all pretty well
But I know sometimes I must get out in the light
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright
The kids are alright

Sometimes, I feel I gotta get away
Bells chime, I know I gotta get away
And I know if I don't, I'll go out of my mind
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright
The kids are alright

I know if I go things would be a lot better for her
I had things planned, but her folks wouldn't let her

I don't mind other guys dancing with my girl
That's fine, I know them all pretty well
But I know sometimes I must get out in the light
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright
The kids are alright

Sometimes, I feel I gotta get away
Bells chime, I know I gotta get away
And I know if I don't, I'll go out of my mind
Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright
The kids are alright

The Beatles were songwriters that pushed boundaries in the studio, leaving millions to follow in their steps.

The Who were musicians and songwriters that pushed the boundaries of pop music and laid down the foundations of modern rock.

I could go on and on about loads of musical bands back then. I really couldn't find a bad band back then. Now y'all know why the '60s and '70s were the golden era of pop music, and today being the golden era of mass technology. It was a different time.

Resist the urge to become a finger-wagging, generation-bashing codger.

No matter the State of the World, this song never fails to pick me up & is always True.

Keith Moon was a crazy drummer with originallity, good skills and sympathy. I love Keith Moon and he is still living everytime I listen The Who. Instead John Entwistle he is the best Bass player EVER!! Thunderfingers never die!

1:56 that drum solo is redicilous....
Keith was totally way ahead of his time. he invented lead drums.
In this song hes got a Surf Rock meets Jazz like feel to his style.

Is this really the same band that a tore up the stage at Monterey in 1967 and stole the show in the Stone's Rock and Roll circus? Damn, I miss the Who!
