Love that Nordic feel to it. A lot of people thought they did Thor dirty but I thought they handled him well. With the guilt and depression from not being able to stop Thanos, to seeing his mom lifting his spirits and comforting him. That shit was beautiful. It’s not all about flashy looks and power. Though him wielding Mjolnir and Stormbreaker at the same time was badass.

I love this viking vibe !!
Suite Movie Themes
I adore how Alan Silvestri brought back so many past themes from the other Marvel films. This is based on ‘Twilight of the gods’ from Ragnarok by Mark Mothersbaugh 😍

This score is really emotional especially around 1:52 because that’s when Thor hugged his mother. Such a powerful scene because it gives Thor the sense of responsibility and we see her pep talk somewhat inspire him at the end of the movie with that epic battle with thanos. I just hope his character is completely redeemed in GOTG 3

This scene was very emotional, Thor may not have shown it on a deep personal level aside from his weeps of joy, but he was relieved he was able to see his mum know not what a good God he'll be, but what a good man hell turn out to be. Part of this song was also used when Thor and Loki find Odin standing on a cliff in Norway, "I love you my sons." Some of the last words he heard from both of his parents. Besides "Look at that, remember this place, home." and "eat some salad."

I love how the theme that starts at 1:00 is redeemed in Portals with an even more epic rendition. Truly masterful and a gut punch to the emotions.

Is this the New Asgard scene, when Thor gives the throne to Valkyrie, right?
