A video made in response to the murder of the lead singer of The Gits', Mia Zapata back in 1993. This video features Selene Vigil and Valerie Agnew today along with vintage footage of the band--including the late Stefanie Sargeant. The song is called M.I.A. which is dedicated to Mia Zapata and is off of the album entitled, "VIVA ZAPATA".

Selene Vigil was really weird about her lyrics. They weren't even in any of the album liner notes. She was uber personal and weird about stuff like that for some reason.

One of the best songs ever written/performed. Great video too. For a Sociology final paper, I explicated this song, and wrote about Mia Zapata's murder's effect on the Seattle music scene. Got 100. Thanks for posting this!
